About The Author

Andrew was born in Hertfordshire in 1966. The event made such an impression on him that he decided to be raised there too. When the time came to leave the nest, spread his wings and travel far and wide, he did so ... and settled in another part of Hertfordshire. He then moved back again. 

During this period he played guitar in a band (although not terribly well) and reached the exhilarating heights of bank management. He has also spent some time exploring South America (not in Hertfordshire) and helping endangered turtles and rhinos. He contemplated for some while living in a stilt hut on the banks of the Amazon River but gave this thought up after discovering that the river is not located in Hertfordshire after all. 

Rumours of madness have been slightly overstated and he sometimes wonders why he started to spread them in the first place.
